Three in every four requests come from TikTok and Instagram — short clips are what people want to keep: a recipe, a workout, a funny clip for the group chat, or every photo in a post. YouTube is smaller in count but heavier in size: lectures, podcasts and long videos, many of them saved as audio only — see YouTube to MP3.

Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Oman, Kuwait and the UAE lead, and the four Gulf states in the list (Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, UAE) together account for 48% of all requests. Morocco, Egypt and Jordan show up strongly too, even though the app is iPhone-only.
Why do some downloads fail?
The 84% success rate counts every request, including links that can't be downloaded at all. The most common reasons: Story, Highlight, private-account and age- or audience-restricted links — all of which need a login, and Raheeb never uses anyone's account, so it rejects them straight away without touching the user's allowance. Another share is clips deleted by their owners or restricted by the platform in a given country. The takeaway: if the link is public and opens without logging in, it will usually download.

How we collected the data
- Source: the download-request log on Raheeb's servers, 28 June to 29 September 2026.
- A download request = a link the app sent to the server to prepare its file, successful or not. A post with several photos is one request.
- Country is estimated from the request's IP address, like any web service.
- No personal data: the report is aggregates only — no names, accounts or specific links.
- The figures come from one iPhone app, so they reflect Raheeb's users rather than every Arab internet user.
